Rev. Elias Ndeda is the senior pastor and founder of Eagles Christian Centre (ECC) in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa, a multi-ethnic, non-denominational church which is part of a vision which was born in his spirit in 1996 when the Lord spoke clearly to him and said, “Son, raise Me eagles”. He is recognized as an outstanding and dynamic preacher and a passionate and practical teacher of the Word of God. He is married to Joyce Ndeda who ministers alongside him and they have two daughters, Hadassah and Jessica.

ECC began in early 2005 in his home as a prayer meeting and Bible study with only his wife and two other people. But since the official launch of the church in Sandton in May 2005, the church has experienced the divine speed of God in its growth.

He has served as a full-time minister since 1993. From humble beginnings his life and apostolic ministry have grown from level to level. He has travelled extensively throughout the world impacting many cities in over 45 nations on different continents, leaving people transformed by the power of God.

Rev. Ndeda is a much sought-after conference speaker and has been a guest speaker in numerous national and international Christian conventions and meetings. His depth of insight into God’s Word and the uniqueness of his ministry appeals to a diverse group of people from all walks of life and is greatly affecting and changing many lives around the world. Tremendous moves of the Holy Spirit have been experienced wherever he has ministered, with numerous amazing miracles, healing, deliverance and salvations being recorded. Hundreds have experienced financial breakthrough, restoration and a renewed desire to serve God with commitment as a result of hearing and applying the Biblical principles he has taught.
Rev. Ndeda has planted several churches in East Africa and helped to establish churches in a number of different nations. He has also lectured in various Bible Schools on part-time basis. He has raised many sons and daughters in ministry who are now serving as pastors or evangelists. When asked what has contributed to his extraordinary ministry, he is always quick to point to God and His grace. However, he does not overlook his own life experiences, which to him have been God’s process for making him into a vessel “meet for the Master’s use”.

Rev. Ndeda has written three books: Shake That Snake Off!! (also available as an audio-book on CD), Seeds of His Word and When God Favours You, with thousands of copies in international distribution. Many testimonies have been received confirming the change in the lives of people who have read these God-inspired books.

Rev. Ndeda has been a regular guest on the South African National Christian radio program, Radio Pulpit, where he has been invited to provide spiritual advice and inspiration to the listeners. In order to reach a wider community outside the walls of the church building with the Good News of Jesus Christ, Pastor Ndeda launched in February 2006 a daily radio program, Power of Truth, on Rainbow FM 90.7, a Christian community radio station in Johannesburg. The program has already become a favourite among believers, while challenging unbelievers with the truth of the Gospel.

In November 2006 the radio program was launched on Impact Radio FM 103, which reaches Tshwane (Pretoria) and the surrounding areas. Numerous testimonies from people whose lives are being impacted by the broadcasts have been received. He has also been a guest on the weekly Christian television program, Crux, aired by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) which has a national audience.
Rev. Ndeda is the president and founder of Elias Ndeda Ministries International (ENMI), a ministry that produces audio-visual products and other resources to empower and equip believers in the Body of Christ, and bring them to a place of maturity in their walk with God. This ministry also enables him to stir up his other giftings as an author and as a mentor for ministers and ministry leaders, and to fulfill his apostolic calling which involves a schedule of local and international speaking engagements in other churches and ministries. The media ministry of ECC and ENMI are also enabling Pastor Ndeda to impact millions of lives through satellite television.

Rev. Ndeda wakes up every morning with a deep aspiration to impact someone’s life, no matter their background, race, nationality, ethnicity, culture or age, with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Whether ministering to thousands in a big hall or stadium, or just praying or counselling with an individual, he is driven by a love and compassion for sick and hurting people. He has met with presidents, kings and senior government leaders in several countries who have asked for his wisdom and counsel and requested prayer. He has a passion for winning souls for the Kingdom of God and has committed his life to serving God and to building the Body of Christ.

Rev. Ndeda is a man who is on fire for God and anointed by Him for this hour to serve God’s purpose in our generation. His great desire is to raise an army of ‘Eagle-saints’ by provoking believers towards their God-given destiny and to help every person, regardless of circumstances or economic status, to achieve their fullest potential in God. He likes sincerity and honesty and his peers admire and respect his prayerful lifestyle, his hunger for the presence and glory of God, his integrity and his boldness. He is never willing to compromise on excellence which to him is a way of life. Whatever he does in every area of life and ministry, he insists that it should be done outstandingly to display God’s glory and excellence.
